Indian Coast Guard Navik Exam Pattern:
Exam of Indian Coast Guard Navik (General Duty) is of Objective type which should be computer based. Examimation level shall be based up to 12th standard.
Section I (45 Minutes)
- Mathematics :- 20 Questions, 20 Marks
- Science :- 10 Questions, 10 Marks
- English :- 15 Questions, 15 Marks
- Reasoning :- 10 Questions, 10 Marks
- GK :- 5 Questions, 5 Marks
Section II (30 Minutes)
- Mathematics :- 25 Questions, 25 Marks
- Physics :- 25 Questions, 25 Marks
Physical Fitness Test
Applicants after qualifying written test shall had to go for Physical Fitness Test. Physically Challenged are not eligible to apply for this exam.
Parameters for Physical fitness test are mentioned:
- 1.6 Km run in 7 minutes
- 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak)
- 10 Push-ups
- Note: Applicants are required to carry their sports attire, shoes, etc and so on.
Medical Exam
After the various test applicants shall be finally eligible for medical exam. Medical exam shall be held by the authorized Doctors to get entry for the jobs.
Medical Criteria
- Height :- Minimum height must be 157 cms.
- Chest :- Well-proportioned chest, minimum expansion of 5 cms
- Weight :- Proportionate to height & age + 10 percentage acceptable
- Hearing :- Normal
- Visual Standard :- 6/6 (Better Eye) & 6/9 (Worse Eye) (Applicants using glasses shall not be eligible)
- Tattoo :- Permanent tattoos (Not allowed)
